Millwork Drafter

This role requires a strong understanding of custom woodworking construction methods and the ability to produce clear, organized, and highly detailed drawing packages. Attention to detail is critical, as the drawings generated will be used directly by production and installation teams. Candidates will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of quality control on all deliverables. As a Remote Drafter, you will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings and construction documentation for high-end custom millwork projects. Your primary responsibilities will include developing shop drawings, creating sections and detailed views, incorporating materials and hardware specifications, and ensuring all documentation meets fabrication requirements. You will work within established templates, drafting standards, and workflows while collaborating remotely with a U.S.-based team. We are looking for a contract-based Remote Millwork Drafter to join our team and support the production of high-quality shop drawings for custom millwork projects. This role is focused on technical drafting and documentation, ensuring that all drawings are accurate, complete, and ready for fabrication and installation. After an initial review of your application, qualified candidates will be contacted for a brief introductory conversation. Selected applicants will then complete a drafting evaluation to assess their proficiency in AutoCAD, and overall drafting capabilities. Once the drafting evaluation is completed, it will be reviewed by our drafting team. Candidates who successfully pass this stage will be invited to participate in a Zoom interview with members of our management and drafting departments. This meeting allows us to learn more about your experience, discuss our workflow and expectations, and answer any questions you may have. Experience drafting residential millwork. Knowledge of architectural millwork standards and construction methods.Ability to review drawings for constructability and identify potential production issues.Experience working remotely in a collaborative team environment.Spanish speaker is a plus.
