Tech Lead (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
Descripción del puesto
Proven Technical Leadership: A significant track record (Senior/Lead level) of delivering complex e-commerce projects and supporting live production platforms. You have high autonomy and can take a vague goal and turn it into shipped, stable software.Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SFCC, including SFRA architecture. Comfortable across the platform's full lifecycle, from net-new build to BAU support and incident response.Generalist "Chops": Deep proficiency across the commerce stack, integrations (payments, search/merchandising, inventory, BNPL, CMS, reviews, etc., specifics vary by client), API design, data handling, and security. You know how to build systems that survive in production.Multi-Workstream Delivery Experience: Demonstrated ability to operate across different types and paces of delivery — from structured project work to ongoing operational/support contexts — or clearly transferable experience across those modes. Comfortable whether that means one workstream or several running in parallel.Multi-Party Delivery Experience: Comfortable working within delivery models involving agency, client, and external design/dev partners and managing technical alignment across all three.Communication: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). You can explain technical tradeoffs to a non-technical PM as easily as you discuss architecture with another engineer.People Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineering teams. Proven ability to develop engineers through coaching, technical guidance, and constructive feedback while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture. Cross-Workstream Technical Ownership: You are the connective tissue between every workstream you own. You maintain a shared technical view so a decision made on one (a new integration, a data model change) doesn't blindside another, whether that's two workstreams or several.Delivery & Execution Ownership: You take high-level architectural and design direction and translate it into detailed, executable technical tasks, for yourself and the team. You own the "how" of implementation across whatever you're responsible for.Engineering Rigor & Quality: You bring order regardless of how many workstreams you're juggling or what type each one is. Every workstream gets delivered to the standard of rigor it requires: production-grade engineering, accessibility, performance, and integration discipline.Proactive Risk Management: You identify dependencies, scope creep, and technical debt before they become blockers without waiting to be asked. You bring solutions, not just problems.Real-Time Problem Solving: You're comfortable being put on the spot in client calls, stand-ups, or Slack threads, and can give a credible, accurate answer or a clear "let me confirm by X" without disappearing for days. You triage and unblock issues with appropriate urgency, whatever the workstream.Communication & Alignment: You translate complex technical concepts, such as architecture, integration constraints, platform limitations into plain language for non-technical stakeholders. Partnership: You work directly with Client Stakeholders and internal APPLY teams to manage scope, expectations, and technical reality across all active workstreams simultaneously.Engineering Leadership & Team Enablement: Beyond aligning the technical direction of the project, you lead and mentor the engineering team, helping developers make sound technical decisions and grow in their craft. THE ROLE: The Tech Lead is a key technical leader accountable for the successful delivery of Salesforce Commerce Cloud engagements, often spanning multiple concurrent workstreams for the same client anything from a single focused build to several workstreams of different types running in parallel. The scope flexes with the client and the engagement. You are a master of delivery, leading through a combination of strong technical execution, pragmatic problem-solving, and a deep commitment to keeping every workstream you own aligned with the others. This is a high-autonomy role. While you will partner closely with PM, design, and client stakeholders, you must be comfortable operating as the sole technical voice across whatever combination of workstreams you're responsible for, the person who knows what's happening across all of them, and makes sure none blindsides another. Breadth of Impact: The chance to own technical delivery across varied types of work (innovation-forward build and operational excellence alike), sharpening a wide range of technical and delivery muscles.Global Impact: Work on enterprise-scale commerce platforms for major global retail brands.Portability: A role designed to travel with you; the skills and ownership model here apply directly to future Salesforce Commerce Cloud engagements within APPLY.LIFE AT APPLYPeople are at the core of everything we do at APPLY.
