Online Reputation Account Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Online Reputation Account Manager to manage client relationships and execute online reputation campaigns end-to-end.
This role combines client-facing communication, strategic thinking, and hands-on project management. You will own multiple client accounts, guide clients through complex reputation challenges, and collaborate closely with our internal team to deliver measurable results.
This is a remote role, but it requires strong availability, responsiveness, and comfort working closely with others across time zones.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Online Reputation Management
Manage and improve clients’ online reputations across Google, review platforms, social media, and search results.
Monitor, respond to, and strategize around online reviews, including improving star ratings and addressing negative or false reviews.
Coordinate the mitigation, suppression, or removal of unwanted content (e.g., news articles, court records, videos), following platform-specific policies.
Stay current on changes to search engines, review platforms, and online reputation management best practices.
Continuously adapt reputation strategies as AI becomes more deeply integrated into search experiences (e.g., AI-generated search results, summaries, and recommendations).
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Plan and oversee multi-channel reputation campaigns, including website creation and optimization, content development and publishing and social media account management.
Research and pitch content opportunities aligned with client goals and evolving search behavior.
Edit and review content for accuracy, tone, brand alignment, SEO, and visibility within AI-influenced search results.
Manage timelines, workflows, vendors, and budgets to ensure campaigns stay on track.
Adjust campaign strategies as search and discovery continue to shift from traditional search results to AI-assisted and conversational search environments.
Client Communication & Reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically via email, Slack, and virtual meetings.
Set realistic expectations and guide clients through sensitive or stressful situations.
Prepare and deliver clear monthly reports outlining progress, results, insights, and recommended next steps.
Team Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work closely with an international, remote team on daily execution.
Follow and contribute to documentation-driven workflows.
Help refine systems, processes, and standard operating procedures as we grow.
Share observations and ideas related to changes in search, AI, and reputation management.
Participate actively in team communication, including Slack discussions and calls.
Our Culture (Read Carefully)
Reputation Resolutions is not a typical remote company.
Highly collaborative: We communicate daily and support one another continuously.
Always available: Team members are responsive on Slack and available for calls during working hours.
Learning environment: Online reputation management is new to most hires — there is a learning curve, and we support you through it.
Documentation-driven: We document processes so you can work independently, while still having access to team support.
Team-first: Individual performance matters, but being a good teammate matters more.

This Role Is NOT for You If…
You prefer working completely independently with minimal communication.
You dislike being available on Slack or joining calls.
You struggle with accountability or need close supervision to stay on track.
You are uncomfortable handling sensitive client situations with professionalism and empathy.
You want a purely technical, marketing-only, or behind-the-scenes role.
You are not open to learning new systems, processes, and a specialized, constantly evolving industry.
You are not interested in adapting as AI continues to change how people search and discover information online.
