About the Role
We are looking for an IT Advanced Analytics Analyst II to join our team. This is an intermediate-level position ideal for someone who already has hands-on experience working with data and software development, and is ready to take on more complex projects and responsibilities.
You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build and maintain data-driven solutions that directly impact how Schneider moves freight across North America. You will not just write code, you will help the business make better decisions through data.
What You Will Do:

Design and maintain the automated systems that keep data flowing reliably between platforms.
Take machine learning models from development into real production environments.
Produce analysis and reporting that gives business leaders the clarity they need to act.
Partner with both technical and non-technical teams to turn business questions into data solutions.
Raise the bar for the team by reviewing code and sharing knowledge with less experienced colleagues.
Own your work manage your own deadlines, priorities, and deliverables without constant supervision.
Jump in when things break and figure out why.
Keep up with what is happening in the data and engineering world and bring new ideas to the table.

What You Need to Bring - Must have:

A completed degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar.
At least 2 years of real work experience in a data or software role.
Strong command of Python for data processing and software development.
Solid ability to query and manage data using SQL.
Experience building or maintaining automated data workflows, what the industry calls ETL or data pipelines.
Strong knowledge in machine learning (ML) you do not need to be a researcher, but you should have worked with models in a professional setting.
Comfort working with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Experience using Git to collaborate on code with a team.
English proficiency required You will work closely with teams in the United States, so fluency in English is essential for this role.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Worked on any major cloud platform Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
Used containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience with high-volume data streaming tools like Apache Kafka.
A background working with Linux-based systems.
Prior exposure to the transportation or logistics industry.
Guided or mentored teammates with less experience.
