About the role: 
As a Digital Workplace Engineer for the Americas Zone, you will be a key pillar within the Digital Workplace Infrastructure team. In this role, you will combine deep technical engineering expertise with service delivery ownership, acting as both a subject-matter expert and the accountable point of contact for Digital Workplace services across the Americas Zone.

Your mission is to drive the excellence, evolution, and adoption of our productivity and collaboration ecosystem, while ensuring the performance, stability, and reliability of Digital Workplace services throughout their full lifecycle: from demand intake to end-user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional & Technical Leadership

Act as the Product Owner for the Data & Collaboration and Individual Productivity tools in a Microsoft 365 environment (O365, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Planner, Exchange, etc.), ensuring tools are optimized, well-adopted and aligned with business needs.

Guide business teams on the best use of digital tools, transforming business needs into efficient and scalable digital workflows.

Stay ahead of Microsoft and other vendors' roadmaps to proactively identify new features and capabilities that can enhance business processes and user experience across the Americas.

Provide high-level technical expertise (Level 4 support) to assist other Service Delivery Managers and Client Services teams in complex troubleshooting and daily operations.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the zone Architecture and Security teams when evaluating third-party app integrations within our tenant.

Lead technical migrations of accounts and data from other tenants during M&A activities within the zone.

Project & Demand Management

Structure and manage the portfolio of demands and projects for your pillars, ensuring delivery within scope, time, cost, and L’Oréal quality standards.

Collaborate closely with global Digital Workplace product teams to align zone execution with global standards and roadmaps, leading the necessary Change Management and communication efforts to ensure user satisfaction and adoption.

Service Delivery Management

Define, manage, and continuously improve the service catalog for Data & Collaboration and Individual Productivity pillars, identifying new services aligned with business needs.

Define and supervise support services within established standards, including KPIs, metrics, and SLAs, ensuring performance targets are consistently met

Coordinate Level 2 and 3 experts to handle incidents efficiently, managing escalations, crises, and exceptional situations with appropriate emergency action plans.

Manage vendor contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring service quality, SLA compliance, and alignment with L'Oréal's licensing and security standards, including O365 license management and Proofpoint/Exchange integration.

Produce and maintain documentation describing products, services and components to ensure compliance with relevant documentation requirements.

What we are looking for:

Expertise in Microsoft Digital Workplace Ecosystem:

Individual Productivity: Deep knowledge of M365 Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, One Drive for Business), and the Microsoft "Individual Organization" suite (To Do, Viva Insights, Bookings).

AI & Innovation: Understanding and promotion of Copilot (or other Agentic / AI tools) and its integration into daily workflows.

Data & Collaboration: Expertise in SharePoint Online, Teams, Forms, and Project management tools (Planner, Project, Lists).

Tenant & Security: Knowledge of O365 Tenant management, Licensing, and Messaging security (Proofpoint/Outlook).

Professional Skills:

Acts as a Proactive Business Partner: Imagines and promotes alternative solutions to match client needs; understands the "big picture" of the L'Oréal business model.

Decode and Influence: Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.

Knowledge Management: Passion for staying updated on market trends and transmitting "know-how" to the broader IT community.

Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) to structure clear action plans and ensure delivery within scope, time and cost.

Service Delivery & Operations: Ability to define and track KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for IT services; experienced in managing escalations, crises, and vendor relationships.

Documentation & Compliance: Skilled in producing and maintaining service documentation, ensuring functions and features are accurately described and up to date.

Requirements & qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Functional Lead, Service Delivery Manager or Senior Infrastructure Engineer in large-scale M365 environments.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified (Expert or Associate level) is highly valued. ITIL 4 Foundation certification is a strong asset for the service delivery dimension of this role.

Languages: Fluent English and Spanish.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
