Country Manager – Brazil
Hasta US$4,000.00
Descripción del puesto
Overview
At Lupa, we're hiring for a Country Manager – Brazil for a confidential, purpose-driven, for-profit company operating a plastic deposit system across Brazil. Our client enables people to bring plastic to collection sites in exchange for social benefits — and sells the resulting recycled "social plastic" and plastic credits to enterprise customers, helping global brands offset their plastic usage.
This is a high-autonomy, high-ownership role. You'll be the company's legal representative in Brazil, overseeing operations across 20+ collection sites, managing key partnerships, and driving growth into new markets. It's entrepreneurial, non-corporate, and built for someone who thrives with minimal oversight and a builder mentality.
What You'll Do
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations across 20+ plastic collection sites in Brazil (primarily Rio area)
Manage relationships with collection site partners and ensure operational continuity
Monitor and report on collection volumes, partner performance, and operational KPIs
Ensure compliance with local regulations and legal requirements as the legal representative of the company in Brazil
Business Development & Growth
Identify and open doors for new partnership opportunities with charter organizations, recycling partners, and enterprise clients
Support the expansion of existing enterprise accounts (SC Johnson and others) within Brazil
Explore growth opportunities into other Latin American markets when applicable
Represent the company in meetings with enterprise customers and strategic partners
Client & Partner Relations
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing enterprise customers purchasing social plastic and plastic credits
Coordinate with the global team on customer reporting, impact metrics, and account management
Support the onboarding of new customers and partners at the country level
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with the global team (HQ and remote) on strategy, reporting, and operational priorities
Provide ground-level market intelligence to inform product and business decisions
Manage local administrative and compliance requirements

Based in Brazil — São Paulo strongly preferred
Native Portuguese speaker; strong English required for communication with global HQ
5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, business development, or a related field

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to serve as legal representative of the company in Brazil
Results-oriented — you balance mission-driven values with hard performance expectations
Nice-to-haves
Experience in sustainability, recycling, social impact, or ESG-related industries
Existing network in Brazil's corporate sustainability or enterprise procurement space
Experience working with multinational companies or global supply chains
Prior country manager or general manager experience
