Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist
Mission
Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, policies, and programs that foster an inclusive workplace, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure compliance with corporate and social responsibility objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Policies and Procedures
Develop, update, and ensure compliance with DEI policies and procedures across the organization.
Surveys and CensusesDesign and conduct internal surveys and demographic censuses to measure inclusion, equity, and representation, providing actionable insights for leadership.
Events and Awareness Programs
Organize events, workshops, and campaigns that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the company.
Partnerships and External Engagement
Establish and maintain relationships with associations, NGOs, and government entities to strengthen DEI initiatives and align with external standards.
Focus Areas of Inclusion
Develop and oversee programs addressing specific dimensions of diversity, including:
Gender and LGBTTTIQA+ inclusion
Generational diversity
Disability inclusion
Ethnic and cultural diversity
Required Competencies
Strong knowledge of DEI frameworks and best practices
Policy development and compliance management
Stakeholder engagement and external relations
Analytical skills for survey design and data interpretation
Event planning and program management
Advocacy and communication skills
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Law, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in diversity, equity, and inclusion, HR, or organizational development roles. Experience in policy design and external partnerships is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in survey tools, HR systems, and data analysis platforms.
Languages: Advanced English and Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
Soft Skills: Empathy, cultural awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence organizational leaders.
